Apartment Review for Cannon Properties - Grand Rapids, MI

Unsafe--no consistant snow/ice removal, no handicapped parking--all onstreet and little available. Looks old, is old--Keith own 100+ units in historic section of GR-all are shabby! NO OFFICE STAFF that are accessable to tennats, believe it or not! And you can't find Cannon, as his office as listed has been abandoned. One Maint guy who says he has no time. I have waited weeks (literally), for repairs. Ther is NO insulation and the wind actually blows the pilot light out in the kitchen! Currently have roof leak, the ductwork is full of crud (you can see it blow out), no heat in one bedroom and there is black mold from the leaking ceiling. The unit was dirty when I moved in--sloppy painting; somebody had waxed over the dirty floor. It is old and noisy, BUT you have yo expect that from an old building. I am paying top dollar for this dump--I was sucked in by the slick website and the Maint. guy (who showed the apt) line of BS. On a scale of 1-10 I'd rate it a 2 for management and a 3.5 for everything else. BEWARE KEITH CANNON AND CANNON PROPERTIES in Heritage Hills, Grand Rapids!
